- Favorites and account preferences, including saved fatwas and notification settings.
- Notification information, such as device messaging tokens, device identifiers, platform type, and token status.

2. Microphone and Audio
The app may request microphone permission to let authorized users record audio answers. Audio is recorded only when the recording feature is used. Recorded audio answers may be uploaded to our media storage and made available with the published fatwa.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide account registration, login, guest access, and account management.
- Receive, review, categorize, answer, publish, and display fatwa questions.
- Show your submitted questions, saved favorites, and notification preferences.
- Send push notifications and email notifications according to your preferences.
- Verify email addresses, protect accounts, prevent abuse, and maintain service security.
- Operate, debug, improve, and monitor the app and backend services.
4. Public Content
Questions and answers may become public after review and publication. Please avoid including names, contact details, sensitive personal information, or private details in question text unless they are necessary. Submitted questions may be reviewed by authorized staff or sheikh accounts before publication.
5. Notifications and Email
If you allow notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications. Registered notification tokens are stored so we can send relevant alerts and remove inactive tokens. You can disable push notifications in your device settings or update notification preferences in the app.
If you opt in to email notifications and your email is verified, we may send emails about answered fatwas or, for authorized sheikh accounts, new questions.
6. Third-Party Services
We use trusted service providers to operate the app, including:
- Firebase Authentication for account sign-in and identity management.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications.
- Email delivery providers for verification and notification emails.
- Hosting, database, and media storage providers for app content, audio files, and backend operations.
These providers process information according to their own privacy and security practices. We share information with them only as needed to provide the service.
7. Legal Bases and Reasons for Processing
Where applicable, we process information because it is needed to provide the service you request, because you have given consent, because we have a legitimate interest in securing and improving the app, or because we must comply with legal obligations.

Published fatwas may remain available as part of the public service unless removed or anonymized. Notification tokens may be deleted or marked inactive when you log out, change settings, or when a token is no longer valid.

- Withdraw consent for optional features such as notifications or microphone access.
